Dr. Lovey Reynolds is the Founder and Inaugural Chair (2025 - 2026) of the Board of Directors of ANIEA.

Dr. Lovey Reynolds, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, CPN, CNE, is a Filipino American nurse scientist, educator, and clinician with a wealth of experience in nursing education and community health. She is a tenured nursing faculty member, a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE), and a nurse practitioner. Dr. Reynolds earned her PhD in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University College of Education, complementing her MSN with a concentration in Nursing Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also received her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from DePaul University and is board-certified by the ANCC. Dr. Reynolds has certifications in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) from PNCB and Nurse Education (CNE) from NLN.

Dr. Reynolds was awarded the Illinois Board of Higher Education FY2025 Nurse Educator Award for her contributions to nursing education and the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) 2024-2025 Nurse Educator RIIG Dissertation Award.  Most recently, the Philippine Nurses Association of Illinois awarded Dr. Reynolds the Nurse Excellence, Nurse Researcher of the Year.
