You do not need to be a nurse or affiliated with an academic institution to participate.

No. Many applicants come to ANIEA with an early-stage idea. The Idea Incubator is designed to help refine concepts, shape learning goals, and explore what support may be helpful—whether your idea is just beginning or already in progress.

Support may include idea refinement, curriculum development guidance, facilitation coaching, CE planning support, and connections to community or global partners. Levels of support vary by tier and are discussed during the initial consultation.

ANIEA offers tiered support options with different levels of involvement and cost. Reduced-cost options are available for students, youth, individuals from rural or underserved communities, and those experiencing financial barriers.
ANIEA is committed to equitable access. Reduced-rate options are available based on self-attestation for youth, low-income individuals, rural communities, and grassroots initiatives. No documentation is required.

After you submit the intake form, you will receive an email invitation to schedule a brief Zoom conversation with the ANIEA team. This meeting is a chance to discuss your idea, ask questions, and explore next steps together.

ANIEA is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing nursing education, community engagement, and global partnerships. While our Education Committee and many contributors serve in a volunteer capacity, developing and supporting high-quality educational ideas requires dedicated time, coordination, and expertise.
Fees associated with the ANIEA offerings help provide a modest honorarium to the experts who are contributing their professional time and expertise to mentor, review, and support ANIEA offerings. This ensures sustainability while respecting the value of their work.
Remaining funds are reinvested directly into ANIEA to support:
Nurse educator and faculty development
Community-based educational initiatives
Global partnerships and capacity-building projects
Operational infrastructure that allows ANIEA to offer equitable and accessible programming
